Proprio in uno dei periodi in cui ci sarebbe più bisogno di sangue ed emocomponenti, dobbiamo lanciare l’allarme su una carenza davvero eccessiva di donazioni di sangue intero.

Pietro Pantone in persona – Direttore Area Dipartimentale Medicina Trasfusionale UOC Immunoematologia e Medicina Trasfusionale P.O. “Ospedali Riuniti dell’Aretino, Casentino, Valtiberina e Valdichiana aretina” presso Usl Toscana Sud est, Valutatore del Sistema Trasfusionale Italiano – l’Usl Sud est di pertinenza territoriale comprendente anche noi mette in allarme sul fatto che a livello regionale si sta registrando una grave carenza di sangue e che ci sono giornate in cui l’agenda è praticamente vuota!
«In settimana i donatori sono stati davvero troppo pochi. Oggi giovedì 8 settembre 2022 abbiamo avuto 27 (ventisette) posti liberi, domani venerdì 9 abbiamo 14 (quattordici) posti liberi – sostiene proprio il dr. Pietro Pantone, che conclude con l’esclamazione – Praticamente ci stiamo bloccando!»
Ci uniamo pertanto nel rilanciare l’appello più accorato a tutti i donatori affinché accorrano subito a donare!
